E-Commerce Finance · Process Analysis · independent project work
I support small e-commerce and trading companies as well as tax advisory firms at the intersection of online shops, sales channels, ERP, payment systems and financial accounting. When discrepancies arise, I trace transactions across systems and processes, narrow down possible causes and prepare sound decisions. I also automate business processes where it makes sense and develop workflows further with AI support.
Do not just describe how I work.
Make what I do tangible.
E-Commerce Finance & Process Analysis
My professional foundation is operational financial accounting in e-commerce: from accounts receivable, accounts payable and open-item management to intercompany, payment and platform reconciliations, month-end preparation, liquidity monitoring and reporting.
DATEV is the accounting system I work with directly. At the same time, I understand the upstream e-commerce processes from practical experience. This enables me to identify where a transaction has produced an unexpected financial result — without claiming specialist technical or tax expertise.
My service profile
How I work
A plausible explanation is not enough for me. A cause should genuinely explain the issue and be confirmed through a cross-check.
Assess figures, patterns and discrepancies from a professional perspective.
Build comparison cases, isolate differences and perform cross-checks.
Make financial risks and upstream and downstream processes visible.
Compare options, effort and expected impact transparently.
My professional skills as tools
Not every situation requires the same method. Finance is my professional anchor; systems, process analysis and automation complement the appropriate approach.
A good basis for collaboration
Small e-commerce and trading companies as well as tax advisory firms with e-commerce clients.
Two to three clients, predominantly remote, preferably with predictable weekly time allocations.
No tax advice and no independent VAT assessment or classification of transactions. No software development or system administration. Specialists are involved wherever their expertise is required.
Operationally reliable · commercially aware
I connect ongoing financial accounting with cost and liquidity control, reconciliations, reporting and an understanding of the wider commercial context. Process analysis is one of my tools — not the sole focus of my work.
I keep ongoing finance activities structured and under control — from accounts receivable, accounts payable and open-item management to intercompany, payment and platform reconciliations and month-end preparation.
I connect planned, target and actual figures with costs, margins, liquidity and relevant KPIs. This makes discrepancies, risks and the need for action visible at an early stage.
I present figures, impacts, risks and options transparently, coordinate open issues with responsible stakeholders and specialists, and keep responsibilities clear.
Professional development · AI Manager (IHK)
These projects demonstrate my work with AI, automation, change and governance. They complement my professional experience but are not presented as many years of professional AI practice.
